Organisations networked through the International Ergonomics Association (IEA)

A number of other countries and regions of the world have established certification systems for professional ergonomists that are endorsed by the IEA. These organisations play a key role in developing skills within the profession and ensuring the quality of sevices provided. The certification is based on minimum standards of competency and education. Ergonomists certified at the highest level by these organisations may be considered equivalent to the CREE registered European Ergonomists in terms of their education and experience.
